I've been informed of my lame blogging. Bryan's been consistently out of town on business the past couple months, so I've been pretty boring. Most evenings consist of me staying randomly busy in a futile attempt to distract from the fact that I'm home alone. The good news is that I don't feel totally alone anymore. Did anyone else talk to their baby while it was in utero? I know the research says the baby can hear you and will recognize your voice after it's born, but I have to admit that I do it more out of loneliness than legitimate concern about him learning to recognize my voice.
These days, I mostly congratulate Baby on getting so big. From the dry cleaners to co-workers, most people notice (and stare--not sure why) at my baby bump. Even though my clothing options are narrowing, I'm so happy he's healthy and growing, so I'm thrilled. I'll be 6 months this week, which means he still has 3 months to get huge and make me look like Violet Beauregard. Maybe I'll have to avoid wearing all blue to avoid making the comparison too easy for people. So here's my prediction:
+ 3 Months

Considering Bryan weighed over 9 1/2 lbs. when he was born, come early March I may not be far off from this. But as long as Little Roo is healthy, I don't care. I will even sing the "Oompa Loompa" song as Bryan rolls me to the hospital. :)

You don't even look big yet! I'm sure you won't get as big as Violet:) If you need some company when Bryan is gone, come on over, we are literally a hop skip and a few jumps away.
A. You look totally gorgeous
B. Your bump, though tiny, is adorable.
C. I highly doubt you will look anything like Violet Beauregard, but in the off-chance you do I expect lots of pictures
D. Are those Bryan's 12 days of Christmas envelopes on the tree? I miss those!
E. Can I please see you soon? Jilly is driving me crazy asking me constantly when she gets to meet you
F. love you!
Tiny little baby bump is so so cute! Pretty sure you are not capable of getting BIG. You look great, love that dress.
Lisa, has anyone told you that you are super photogenic? Because you really are. Your Christmas tree is very cute. And wow, I guess I sort of didn't realize that you are six months along! Little Roo is going to be here before you know it! Craziness.
Also, I am very sad that we never really get a chance to talk at church. I think we should petition for callings that allow us an opportunity to socialize, because nursery, while fun, is not very social.
You are hilarious. You look wonderful. In fact, I am bitter about it. But not too bitter. I love that you talk to baby Roo. I asked Cole to get away from my ribs a lot. He didn't listen. Hopefully Roo is more obedient :)
Love the ITY BITY BUMP! At least I can see this one. ;) You sure to make me jealous. You are a stunning pregnant woman!
Pretty sure your hilarious! Don't worry, little Roo won't grow too big for you to deliver. TRUST ME!
And yes, when it was just me and Mills hanging out before she was born, we talked a lot too. I have spoken less with the subsequent babies as I have been more busy, but I talked to them all before they were born. I feel like it helped us trust each other more, especially when labor and delivery rolled around.
wow look at that baby bump. I can hardly see you in the picture...jk. You are such a cute pregnant lady. I can't wait to see you in like 2 weeks :)
Tee hee. Oh, I love it. You look fantastic. :)
You look gorgeous! You should call next time Bryan's gone, or when he's here. Either way.
haha, whatever - you will never look like that! Enjoy 6 months - it's part of the best part of pregnancy. My favorite time being pregnant is weeks 24 - 34, because you still look cute and pregnant, people start to notice, baby is really moving, and it's just fun! Sorry Bryan's away a lot - I can relate. But it is nice to have a little person to talk to! Hope you're doing well otherwise!
you are so lovely.
everyone talks to their baby even if they say they don't.
if you think it is bad now just wait until the baby actually comes out then pay attention to the word mumbo jumbo that precedes to spill forth. Even the smartest of mommies says ridiculous stuff.
even when you try not to. it just happens.
